The updated space introduces a new cinema area, work pods, a Royal Box VIP section and a redesigned Gallery space, combining comfort, work functionality and relaxation.
“The Clubhouse is an iconic part of the Virgin Atlantic experience, and we’re proud to be unveiling a bold new chapter at Heathrow.
"This investment reflects our commitment to continually innovating for our customers, combining wellbeing, entertainment and distinctive design in a way only Virgin Atlantic can,” said Juha Jaervinen, chief customer officer at Virgin Atlantic.
Wellness experiences added ahead of departure
Two pop-up wellness offerings have also been introduced as part of the redesign.
Three Somadomes provide self-guided meditation experiences using light therapy, sound and guided relaxation, designed to offer a short mental reset before flying.
A partnership with Secret Spa introduces a selection of express treatments, including massages, facials and manicures, available for a limited period.
Royal Box introduces VIP lounge concept
The new Royal Box is designed as an invitation-only space with runway views, positioned as a private retreat within the Clubhouse.
It includes a central “Cabinet of Curiosities” feature offering a rotating selection of treats and champagne service.
Work pods themed around Virgin Records studios
Two new work pod studios, The Townhouse and The Manor, have been introduced to support business travellers.
Designed with references to Virgin Records studios, the spaces include integrated power, desk setups and studio-style design elements intended to support productivity.
Redesigned gallery, upgraded cinema experience
The Gallery space has been reworked to maximise runway views and accommodate more guests, with seating designed for individuals, couples and groups.
The redesign includes artwork from UK-based artists, including pieces created from retired Virgin Atlantic inflight materials, as well as contributions from Artbox London, a charity supporting artists with autism and learning disabilities.
The Clubhouse cinema has been redesigned as a more intimate screening space with improved lighting, acoustics and seating, including integrated charging points and Bluetooth headphone access.
Virgin Atlantic says the new wellness installations form part of a wider effort to test and refine future wellbeing offerings for customers.
