Job description

Our client, an advertising agency based in Bedfordview is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team.

Objective of the role

The senior account manager is responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring that campaigns are executed successfully and on time. The primary goal is to build strong relationships with clients, understand their business needs, and deliver impactful marketing solutions that exceed expectations.

Key accountabilities
  • Lead the management and growth of client accounts, ensuring the successful delivery of campaigns and services.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing their needs and providing proactive solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal creative, strategy, and production teams to deliver high-quality work that meets client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify opportunities for additional services or upselling, and lead efforts to generate new business within existing accounts.
  • Monitor and track campaign performance, ensuring KPIs and ROI targets are met or exceeded.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Prepare and present regular client updates, performance reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead project timelines, manage budgets, and ensure efficient resource allocation to maximise campaign effectiveness.

Required experience

Minimum of 6 years of experience in account management or client service, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts and driving successful marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of advertising, digital marketing, and industry best practices.
Deep knowledge of client dynamics and ability to tailor strategies to client objectives.
Experience in managing budgets and delivering ROI-focused campaigns.
