Job descriptionOur company is seeking a creative and motivated Intermediate Graphic Designer to join our team. This role requires a solid grasp of design principles and the ability to manage projects with a moderate level of complexity while collaborating effectively with team members and clients. Key Responsibilities: - Design Development: Create visually appealing and effective design solutions for a range of media, including print, digital, and social media. Develop and execute design concepts that meet project objectives and client requirements.
- Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and team members to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure project alignment.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure that all design work adheres to brand guidelines and maintains consistency across all platforms and media. Develop and refine brand materials, including logos, brochures, and other marketing collateral.
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with senior designers, marketing teams, and other departments to brainstorm and develop creative concepts. Provide constructive feedback and collaborate on design iterations to enhance overall project quality.
- Design Execution: Produce high-quality design deliverables, including layouts, graphics, and illustrations, with attention to detail and accuracy. Prepare and optimize design files for various formats, including print and digital distribution.
- Client Interaction: Present design concepts and revisions to clients or stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments. Maintain effective communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction with the final design.
- Quality Assurance: Review and proofread designs to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of errors. Ensure designs are completed within budget and meet all technical specifications for production.
- Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on design trends, industry developments, and emerging technologies to incorporate new ideas and techniques into your work. Experiment with new design tools and methods to enhance creativity and efficiency.
- Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance and support to junior designers, offering feedback and assistance with their design tasks. Share knowledge and best practices with the design team to foster a collaborative and growth-orientated environment.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain organized and accessible design files and project documentation. Assist with administrative tasks related to design projects as needed, including tracking project progress and managing assets.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable to changing project requirements and priorities. Take on additional design tasks or projects as needed to support team goals and objectives.
Requirements Qualifications:- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user experience.
- Proven ability to mange multiple projects and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients and team members.
- A well-rounded portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects and creative solutions.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience; experience in motion graphics is a plus
