Job Purpose:

Ensure that all our venues are maintained to the highest standard, supporting the delivery of five-star event and conferencing experiences. This role plays a critical part in preserving the aesthetic and safety standards across our venues through skilled workmanship.




Key requirements:

• Perform interior and exterior painting, surface preparation, and finishing work
• Construct, install, and repair woodwork, fixtures, and fittings
• Carry out basic plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks and unclogging drains
• Execute minor electrical repairs
• Conduct tiling, grouting, and basic flooring repairs
• Undertake drywall patching, plastering, and ceiling repairs
• Maintain and repair building structures, fixtures, and fittings as needed
• Inspect and troubleshoot general maintenance issues
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade Certification in carpentry, painting or related fields (advantageous)
• 4 – 6 years’ experience in a similar role

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience in a handyman or maintenance role
• Solid skills and experience in painting and carpentry (essential)
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems
• Competence in tiling, drywall, and general maintenance
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Good problem-solving and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour tasks
