Human Resources Business Partner

This position is responsible for the administration and coordination of labour-related matters within the company’s division. This includes, among other things, the following:
- Assistance with manpower planning
- Recruitment and selection
- Compensation (including surveys, market comparisons, job grading)
- Labour relations
- Administration of certain human resources and departmental tasks (for example, Sectoral Exemptions, determining training needs, etc.)
- Maintenance of statutory provisions with regard to labour legislation
- Handling of union-related matters
- Support to workers with personal matters
- Social welfare function
The position reports directly to the Head: Dutoit Agri Eastern Cape. There will be support for the function from Dutoit Agri’s head office in Ceres.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources and at least five years of relevant experience in the agricultural environment
- Driver’s licence
- Knowledge of labour legislation
- Above-average computer and administrative skills
- Above-average management skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Good interpersonal skills
- SIZA, occupational safety, and food safety experience will strengthen the application.
