Essential skills and attributes:
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant software testing experience (non-negotiable)
  • Proven experience designing and executing structured test cases independently
  • Working knowledge of the SDLC and sprint-based delivery
  • Experience using defect tracking and collaboration tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitHub)
  • Strong defect documentation skills, including reproducible steps and impact analysis
  • Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective and risk-based test coverage
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking ability
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to continuously adapt and evolve with emerging AI-driven quality practices as part of ongoing delivery standards
Minimum qualification requirements:
  • A relevant diploma/degree in IT, computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience in structured software testing within a formal development environment may be considered
Bonus points for:
  • 3+ years’ experience in software testing
  • ISTQB certification advantageous
