Job description

Understanding of the global account management, the adaptation of global creative, and fast pace of retail execution and a thorough understanding of digital marketing is essential.


Experience in retail marketing and large-scale point of sale executions is required.

Client service / business management    
  • Day-to-day project management of all projects allocated to you on one or more accounts, from conceptualisation through to production
  • Handle big volumes of work, with speed and without error, for tactical / retail campaigns.
  • Be calm and methodical under pressure
  • Manage budget and be accountable for profit on all projects
  • Support Account Directors and guide Junior Account Executives
  • Strengthen the relationship and profile of Account Management with all departments
  • in the Agency
  • Control creative output, schedules, cost estimates and financial control of production
  • Processes
  • Take responsibility for managing internal and client status meetings
  • Ensure appropriate sign-off on all required project documentation
  • Ensure understanding of the client business, activities and objectives.
  • Ensure delivery of exceptional creative solutions that meet the client objectives.
  • Assist in all relevant support activities - Boardroom bookings; relevant catering; equipment requirements; agenda; status reports; filing; scheduling of meetings
  • Leading and driving integration between various agencies working on the Client's account
  • Ensure that processes are followed meticulously to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.
  • Take responsibility for the input and the output. Briefs must be clear. Executions must be accurate.
Client relationship development  
  • Have a clear understanding of the client's operational requirements and deliver briefs to agreed plans
  • Build strong working relationships with direct clients through consistency, delivery, and communication.
  • Continuously provide updated information regarding status of work, while managing the client's expectations
  • Provide clients with full access to the range of services that are available within the TBWA\Group
  • Raise, develop and exploit opportunities for business development with existing and potential clients where relevant and possible.
  • Control information gathered about the Client through accurate contact reporting, clear project documentation on costs, copy and artwork instructions
  • To manage the invoicing and financial administration within the team.
  • Ensure understanding of the relevant client contract and relevant legal/regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure successful delivery of all client briefs on time and within budget
 Collaboration and team work       
  • Ensure that any relevant intelligence is shared with team members for learning across the Agency
  • Manage the workflow process to ensure integration and collaboration between disciplines
  • Attend in-person meetings with clients and team members when required
  • Be in office on relevant days to focus on team integration and understanding and culture.
 Financial management                                                                         
  • Ensure accurate and up to date financial administration to ensure timeous collection of income for the agency
  • To monitor all billings procedures alert Business Unit Director promptly to any likely changes to billing and Income or any potential write-offs
  • Be clear on hours scoped per brief and ensure accurate management of those hours.
  • Ensure that timesheets are accurate for each project, to make sure budgets are managed accurately.
Core Expectations
  • Manage Mercedes-Benz (Passenger Cars, Vans and Customer Services) campaigns
  • Campaigns include launch and retail campaigns
  • Briefing, client alignment, reviews, internal agency alignment (includes OMD), rollout coordination as per chase list, labelling and uploading assets on commin retail.
  • Reporting
  • Manage Passenger Cars tactical campaigns – 4 per year (quarterly) with a minimum of 500 assets per campaign.

  • Reporting
  • Manage global partner brief, execution and accurate delivery (Adaptation Hub) for all Mercedes-Benz tactical campaigns
  • Manage any other ad hoc campaigns on the Mecedes-Benz portfolio
  • Support on Trellidor projects as required
  • Ensure high quality executions from all briefs, by understanding what you’re asking for, and communicating consistently and clearly.
  • Directly reporting to the Senior Account Director, ensuring regular updates, red flags and asking for support.
  • Consistent delivery “whatever-it-takes” attitude, availability when needed.
