Senior Infrastructure Engineer AWS Devops

We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help build and scale our platform as we grow. This is a hands-on role focused on building, not just maintaining - ideal for someone who enjoys solving real infrastructure challenges and shipping impactful systems.

You’ll work closely with the Head of Platform Engineering to expand our AWS environment and contribute to a modern, AI-assisted engineering culture.

What You’ll Do

• Build and operate production AWS infrastructure (EKS, EC2, RDS/Aurora, VPC, IAM, S3)
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes workloads (deployments, services, ingress, scaling, debugging)
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent)
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
• Troubleshoot systems across Linux environments and networking layers (DNS, TLS, firewalls)
• Implement and optimise database scaling strategies (replication, partitioning, caching)
• Contribute to a reliable, scalable, and secure platform

 What We’re Looking For

• 4 to 5 years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments
• Solid Kubernetes knowledge and practical troubleshooting ability
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Good understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals
• Comfortable using AI-assisted tooling in day-to-day workflows
• Strong written communication skills in async environments

Nice to Have

• Experience working in regulated environments
• Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Exposure to service mesh or API gateway technologies
• Azure experience
