Job description
The Site Development Administrator will oversee the planning, coordination, and administration of billboard site development projects. This role ensures that advertising sites are strategically located, properly maintained, and compliant with legal and safety standards, while supporting the company’s advertising operations.
Role and responsibilities Site identification and acquisition - Research and scout potential locations with high traffic visibility.
- Assess feasibility based on traffic patterns, demographics, and zoning laws.
- Negotiate lease agreements or purchase contracts with property owners.
Permitting and compliance - Work with local municipalities to secure permits and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, environmental laws, and safety standards.
- Maintain documentation for audits and inspections.
Project development and execution - Oversee site preparation, including structural design, engineering, and construction coordination.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor budgets and timelines to keep projects profitable.
Stakeholder management - Build relationships with landowners, city officials, and advertising clients.
- Present site proposals and secure approvals from internal and external stakeholders.
- Handle disputes or challenges related to land use or community concerns.
Market and investment analysis - Evaluate site potential for return on investment (ROI).
- Conduct competitive analysis of nearby advertising structures.
- Recommend strategic locations to maximize visibility and revenue

Desired experience and qualifications. - Matric or similar qualification NQF 4
- Bachelor’s in business administration, real estate, civil engineering, urban planning, or marketing.
- Strong knowledge of project administration and site management.
- Familiarity with site development, municipal by-laws, town planning and advertising standards.
- Must have valid driver's license.
Preferred experience - Background in out-of-home (OOH) advertising or construction project management.
- Experience negotiating contracts with property owners and vendors.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance frameworks.
- Exposure to billboard installation and maintenance processes.
Remuneration - Negotiable based on experience – Position available immediately
