Rollersigns takes market by storm with all-new advertising possibilities

Online advertising and viral campaigns may be top of the marketing mix list these days, but Rollersigns is bringing sexy back to traditional displays! These ground-breaking pioneering displays are not only impossible to miss, due to their impactful nature, they are also customisable and able to serve many, many purposes.

Having acquired the sole distribution rights to Rollersigns, Marin’s Southern Africa General Manager Derek Smit explains the highly beneficial uses this innovative display advertising product brings to the market.

Q: What are Rollersigns?

A: RollerSigns were featured on BBC ‘s Dragons Den - This innovative medium has taken the world market by storm! It transforms dead space into impactful advertising or information displays wherever and whenever a brand requires.

Rollersigns can retrofit existing retractable belt barriers or create bespoke networks to meet client requirements, offering a great new way to brand an area, build awareness and attract new customers in a cost-efficient manner.

Q: When did Rollersigns launch in SA?

A: Marin’s Southern Africa are proud to have the Southern African license for sole distribution of Rollersigns since September 2017

Q: What are Rollersigns used for, and who should use them?

A: Rollersigns have many applications and can be used for directional signage/way-finding, advertising, promotional activity, sponsorship, information and brand communications. Rollersigns can be used in any industry from retail to corporate.

Q: How does assembly/installation work?

A: Put very simply, the Rollersigns banner cassette retrofits to any retractable belt barrier by way of our patent pending attachment. Simply pull down the banner from the cassette to reveal high impact media, and when not in use retract the banner and store away the cassette against the side of the barrier.

Q: Are they available for rental or Purchase?

A: Rollersigns are currently not available for rental in South Africa. Rollersigns can be purchased at a minimum quantity of one.

Q: What is the cost involved?

A: Rollersigns quotations are based on the current exchange rate. No minimum quantity is required to obtain a quotation or to place an order. Contact a member of the Marin’s Southern Africa sales team for full pricing breakdown on the range, or call 011 463 6073.

Q: How long in advance should they be ordered?

A: Marin’s Southern Africa does carry Rollersign stock in South Africa - Should the quantity exceed our stock holding, units will be imported which can have a lead time of around four weeks. Average orders placed are delivered in 20 working days. (dependent on quantity - low quantities 5 to 10 working days)

Q: How do Rollersigns set brands apart compared to other forms of advertising/promotions/OOH?

A: One of the key benefits of Rollersigns is that the banners are interchangeable, allowing you to update the message whenever you wish! The process only takes a few minutes and is exceptionally user-friendly.

Q: Is there one standard size, or do Rollersigns come in different sizes?

A: Different sizes can be quoted upon request. The Rollersign banner cassette comes standard at 1.5m with a 1.5m vinyl print on the front and reverse. Only one size: banner print: 145 x 85cm. Total unit on pole: 175cm wide x 105cm high. The unit comes in two different types of material, PVC non curl vinyl or mesh.

Q: Are Rollersigns sustainable in terms of the material that’s used to manufacture them?

A: It is one of the most elegant branding units and can be used indoors as well as outdoors. It is hardware, providing you years and years of usage while also being interchangeable.
