Careers in Critical Skills is this week the topic in a radio partnership between South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and SABC Education.
There are few people who have scarce and critical skills and learners don't necessarily consider them when applying to study at higher education institutions. The result is there are few or no suitably skilled professionals in the labour market and in some instances they may not necessarily possess a high level of work experience.
This week Khetha highlights careers in scarce and critical fields, gives examples of subjects required for these and encourages learners to apply now.
