Key responsibilities

Relationship management:
  • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with dealership staff, management, and key stakeholders to promote trust and mutual business growth. 

Sales execution:
  • Promote and sell insurance products (including motor, short-term, and value-added services) through dealership channels, achieving monthly and quarterly targets.

Client Visits and Field Work:
  • Conduct regular on-site visits to assigned dealerships to provide training, sales support, product updates, and performance reviews.


Training and Support:
  • Conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions for dealer staff on insurance products, compliance processes, and quoting systems.

Lead generation and conversion:
  • Work closely with dealer teams to generate qualified insurance leads and convert them into policies through follow-ups and client engagement.

Reporting and insights:
  • Track and report on sales activities, dealer performance, and market trends. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of sales strategies and product offerings

Compliance and quality assurance:
  • Ensure that all sales activities are conducted in line with regulatory requirements, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, and company standards.


Education:


Matric (required)


Relevant diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or Insurance (preferred) Regulatory Exam (RE5) and FAIS credits (beneficial)


 Experience:
  • 2–5 years' experience in insurance sales or a similar role experience working with motor dealerships or in the automotive finance/insurance space is a strong advantage
  • Skills and competencies:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sales-driven with a hunter mindset
  • Excellent presentation and training abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple dealer accounts
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills
  • Tech-savvy – comfortable using CRM systems and quoting tools
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle

  • Monthly policy sales targets achieved
  • Dealer engagement and satisfaction levels
  • Lead-to-sale conversion rate
  • Number of dealer visits per month
  • Training sessions delivered and feedback
  • Compliance score and quality audits passed
