We’re looking for a full-time warm, proactive individual to manage the daily operations of short-term rental residences , while also supporting the owner with tasks related to hospitality and a media-focused business. The ideal candidate is kind, organised, and thrives on creating seamless experiences for both guests and colleagues..

Multi-residence operations
  • Oversee daily operations including guest check-ins, check-outs, and concierge services
  • Inspect each residence before and after guest stays to ensure standards are met
  • Check for maintenance issues during inspections and timeously arrange for repairs or servicing
  • Handle guest reservations, billing, and communication with professionalism
  • Drive bookings through platform management and local partnerships
  • Maintain a peaceful, high-quality atmosphere for all guests and staff
  • Supervise and motivate 1–2 permanent staff and any ad hoc support staff as needed
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and contractors across locations
  • Track and manage inventory of guest house supplies, linen, and equipment
  • Conduct regular property audits and spring-cleaning schedules
Owner support (operations and marketing)
  • Manage the owner’s schedule, emails, and key follow-ups
  • Assist with social media planning, content, and engagement
  • Support outreach, partnerships, and PR in a media-focused business
  • Coordinate events, travel logistics, and administrative tasks
  • Act as liaison between the owner and key stakeholders
Ideal candidate
  • Naturally warm, observant, and solutions-oriented
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-focused
  • Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confident in coordinating maintenance, vendors, and contractors
  • Lives off-site but within close reach of Sandton
  • Experience in hospitality, media, or marketing is an advantage
  • References from previous hospitality or assistant roles
  • Fluent in English
  • Advantageous: Some knowledge of any one of German, French, Dutch, or any other language common among our international guests
  • Advantageous: Knowledge and experience with meal preparation
