The applicant must be creative, forward thinking and be able to work independently and or within a tight team of creatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong design background and understanding of design and digital implementation and a passion for photography a bonus. The candidate is to possess a true love for design, be comfortable in mixed mediums, and across various platforms and channels. Projects include; local campaigns for some of SA leading brands, photography, in-house content production, print, retail, digital design elements and digital video content.
The company’s growth and entrepreneurial spirit means this role will constantly evolve - the ideal person is someone who is flexible and uses their creative and project management skills to deliver quality work. Skills:
- Based in Cape Town.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Graphic Design
- Proactive profile, with the ability to manage and develop proposals independently, in an organized and solution-oriented way.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Creative, attentive to trends with strong interest for fashion and AI
- Strong typography skills
- Flexible and dynamic: with ability to work in agile and changing environments.
- Portfolio of work that demonstrates skills in branding and typography.
- Interest in learning how to create small animations, videos and gifs.
- Interest in photography and art direction.
- Knowledge in how to manage, modify and update material in CMS. (Shopify)
