Day-to-day: Senior Client Services Manager
Job Purpose:As a mid-level Client Service Manager, you will serve as a pivotal support figure for the Senior Client Service Manager on the allocated portfolios. This full-time position demands in-office presence, split between the client's site and the agency's office, engaging closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Key responsibilities involve spearheading on certain portfolios, managing day-to-day tasks, coordinating project timelines, and maintaining communication between the agency, client, and the CSM.
This individual will collaborate daily with the Senior CSM, assisting in project prioritization and resource allocation while ensuring timely task completion.
Apart from supporting the CSM, the role involves handling administrative and operational requirements, overseeing budgets, maintaining social and digital platforms, and staying updated on industry trends. Essential attributes include resilience, assertiveness, and the ability to make decisive decisions under the guidance of the CSM.
Experience and proficiency across various marketing applications, particularly in digital and social campaign management, event coordination, and through-the-line campaign oversight, are advantageous.
The candidate should possess financial acumen to track budgets, project costs, and identify potential budget risks.
Key Objective/s - To play a critical on-the-ground support function to the Senior Client Service Manager on the portfolio.
- Spearheading or leading on certain portfolios with the supervision of the Senior CSM
- Execute and manage all day-to-day tasks as communicated with accuracy, with the required professionalism, and within stipulated deadlines.
- Assist in creating project timelines and ensuring task completion from allocated resources.
- Briefing internal teams / managing deadlines and deliverables, supporting and driving the planning and execution of client projects.
- To be based at Clients offices for up to 3 days a week, and within the agency on the remaining days. Managing diaries and syncing with resources based at agency.
- Note that this is full time role, with in-office presence required throughout the week.
- Be the key correspondent between the client, and the supporting resources from the agency, and the CSM
- Collaborates closely with Senior CSM daily, for alignment on on-going projects/new requests/and for CSM to take lead in the prioritisation of work coming into the agency.
- Ensuring the correct resources are allocated/secured for any given tasks and ensure appropriate management of delivery on deadlines supplied. Ensure all client needs are met in a timely manner.
- Key support to the CSM when they are not in the office.
- Assist with the facilitation of all admin and operational requirements.
- Comply with any other reasonable instruction given by reporting manager.
- Assisting with CEs, Chase, Recons, budgets and status upkeep.
- Monitoring and upkeep of social and digital platforms with resources allocated, along with staying abreast of competitor activity in the industry and digital trends that can be leveraged.
- Automotive experience is required/preferred,
- Experience required across 360 marketing applications. Including but not limited to:
- Digital and Social campaign management
- Co-ordination of Promotional Events and Activations / Prize fulfilment
- Through the line campaign management
- Demonstrates resilience and assertiveness, exhibiting the strength of character to navigate through challenges confidently and make decisive decisions with the guidance of the CSM.
- Financial acumen – ability to track budgets / project costs / spend, and alert on potential risks on budget thresholds.
Key Results - Task Completion and Efficiency: Ensure precise execution and management of day-to-day tasks in alignment with Client Services Managers' directives.
- Timely Communication Management: Responsively handle communication queries, particularly during the CSM's absence, guaranteeing timely facilitation of requirements both internally and with clients.
- Stakeholder Information Coordination: Support and manage information from key stakeholders, proactively informing and aligning Client Services Managers to ensure strategic awareness and operational effectiveness.
- Punctual Administrative Tasks: Complete timesheets accurately and promptly within designated deadlines to uphold efficient administrative processes and time management.
- Effective Support and Query Resolution: Provide comprehensive assistance for queries, reporting requirements, and any identified tasks.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Demonstrate flexibility by effectively handling diverse tasks directed by the business or Client Services Manager/s, ensuring completion at the expected standard.
- Client Collaboration and Resource Allocation: Act as the primary liaison between clients, agency resources, and the CSM, facilitating collaboration, ensuring appropriate resource allocation, and meeting client needs within stipulated timelines.
- CSM Support and Operational Management: Provide key support to the CSM during their absence, handling administrative and operational requirements efficiently to maintain continuity.
- Financial Oversight and Marketing Experience: Exhibit financial acumen by effectively tracking budgets, project costs, and spending, while leveraging experience across 360 marketing applications, encompassing digital and social campaign management, event coordination, and through-the-line campaign oversight.
- Industry Awareness and Decision-Making: Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and digital platform maintenance, demonstrating resilience and assertiveness in making decisive decisions under the guidance of the CSM, thereby contributing to effective strategic decisions and risk management.
Ideal Background Education:
Diploma in administration and/or project management and/or related.
Knowledgeable in Digital advertising and requirements thereof.
Languages:Business English
Experience:Preferred +/- 3-5 years’ experience in agency environment.
