Junior Developer

Job description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-orientated Junior Developer with foundation experience in C# and a passion for software development.  The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and contribute to a team environment.

This is a 6-month contract with the option to renew or employ permanently.


Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Code: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using C#.
• Bug Fixing and Troubleshooting: Perform unit testing and assist with integration testing.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with senior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Support in Project Development: Contribute to new feature development.
• Stay Updated and Learn: Continuously improve technical skills and stay up to date with new technologies.

Requirements

• 1+ years working experience with C#.
• Must be able to develop in C#.
• Applicants with experience in C#, specifically around integrations with Microsoft Excel, will have an advantage.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Diligent and responsible working attitude.
• Afrikaans proficiency is advantageous.
• Own transport
