Job description

The ideal candidate will be involved managing foreign creditors, managing foreign exchange transactions, and preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations, reports and forecasts. 2 years or more experience in accounting, company related tax, treasury, balance sheet reconciliation, forecasting will be advantageous. They must have strong interpersonal skills and want to join a fast paced, high-performance team.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing departmental income statement expenses
• Preparing journals, balance sheet reconciliations, reports, and forecasts
• Managing foreign exchange (Forex) transactions
• Preparing and submitting tax returns
• Managing foreign creditors
• Managing of fixed assets
• Creating ad-hoc reports for various business needs

Requirements

• BCom Degree in Accounting
• 2 years or more relevant experience
• IFRS
• Tax Act (Vat, tax & customs)
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
