A well-established signage and branding company is seeking an experienced Installation Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all installation activities across Gauteng and outlying regions.

This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical installation knowledge, sound health & safety compliance experience, and the ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and multiple installation projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage daily installation schedules using a shared Outlook calendar

  • Coordinate readiness of printed and outsourced materials prior to dispatch

  • Conduct site surveys (measure-ups) and compile photo-based documentation for quoting and client feedback

  • Supervise and motivate an internal installation team and manage compliant subcontractors

  • Ensure installation quality control for both in-house and outsourced projects

  • Maintain and manage health & safety documentation, including OHS files and compliance records

  • Liaise with sales, admin, production teams, and clients to manage timelines and expectations

  • Track installation costs, link expenses to POs, and support billing targets through efficient deployment

  • Submit all post-installation documentation within required timeframes

  • Perform minor maintenance tasks within the factory and office environment when required

Health & Safety Focus

  • Ensure compliance with COIDA, Working at Heights, medicals, and statutory documentation

  • Maintain PPE, tools, and vehicle inspections

  • Identify and address on-site safety risks, with authority to halt work if required

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in signage installation, including team leadership

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of signage and branding installations

  • Valid driver’s licence

  • Current Working at Heights certificate and Medical Certificate

  • Working knowledge of MS Outlook, basic Excel, Adobe Suite, and smartphone-based tools

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Working Environment

  • Based at Johannesburg head office with regular site travel (will require some travel nationally too)

  • Client-facing and outdoor work environment

  • Company vehicle, cell phone, data, tools, PPE, and credit card provided
