Editorial Intern - Wedding Etc.

Highbury Media T/A Habari Media is a media powerhouse whose world-class titles connect brands to targeted audiences. We are looking for an Editorial Intern to join the Weddings etc. Digital team — someone eager to gain workplace experience and with a genuine passion for digital media.  Key duties:

• Write and publish daily SEO-optimised blog content for the website and across social media platforms (X, Facebook, and Instagram).
• Research and pitch relevant and trending wedding topics, industry news, and feature ideas.
• Conduct interviews where required to support articles and editorial features.
• Assist with social media content creation and help grow the audience by sharing engaging, shareable content that drives traffic to the website.
• Help moderate comments and messages on social media platforms when necessary.
• Support the editorial team with content planning and scheduling for the website and social media channels.
• Stay up to date with wedding industry trends, including weddings, celebrity engagements, and bridal news.

Requirements:

• A passion for the digital media space, particularly within the wedding industry.
• A strong interest in style, photography, beauty, food, event planning, and travel as they relate to weddings.
• A good eye for visually appealing, image-driven content that stands out in a competitive wedding market.
• Basic knowledge of WordPress.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Degree in English, Journalism or Media Communication Studies.
• Basic understanding of social media analytics would be advantageous.
