Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Media Manager – Post Production to join our production team. This role is responsible for managing media assets across the post-production process, ensuring files are properly stored, organised, and accessible to editors and production teams.


Key duties and responsibilities 


Media ingest and ervification
  • Ingest camera cards, hard drives, and cloud transfers; verify integrity.
  • Manage production documentation.
Organisation and asset management 
  • Maintain folder structures, naming conventions, and version control across projects.
Storage and archiving
  • Monitor active storage, manage nearline and long-term archives, and conduct routine capacity checks.
Backup and data protection
  • Implement 3-2-1 backup procedures, monitor processes, and conduct recovery testing.
Proxy workflow management
  • Generate proxies, ensure timecode accuracy, and support relinking during conform stages.
Project tracking and documentation
  • Maintain intake logs, storage records, and delivery timelines.
Delivery and quality control
  • Perform QC checks on resolution, frame rate, audio levels, and codec compliance.
System maintenance and security
  • Monitor system health, manage permissions, and ensure compliance with security protocols.


Minimum qualifications, experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in film production, Media Technology, Broadcast Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in media management or post-production workflows
  • Experience in a broadcast, production house, or digital media environment preferred.

Skills and knowledge:
  • Strong media asset management and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and post-production workflows.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
