Who are we looking for

A commercially astute CFO who can operate at both strategic and operational level. You’re a strong business partner to the CEO, comfortable driving financial discipline in a high-volume, execution-heavy environment.
You bring structure and governance, but remain agile and solutions-focused. A natural leader, you influence at executive level and ensure decisions translate into action.
This role offers a clear pathway into broader senior leadership.

What will you do

• Lead financial strategy aligned to growth, profitability and sustainability
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across the business
• Act as key advisor to the CEO on commercial strategy, pricing, and risk
• Oversee full financial management including cash flow, tax, compliance, and audit
• Manage BEE processes and shareholder requirements
• Strengthen cost control, margins, and financial discipline across operations
• Support and help enforce executive and board directives across business units
• Drive accountability, monitor execution, and flag risks or gaps
• Improve systems, reporting, and data visibility (ERP, automation, analytics)
• Contribute to business innovation and operational efficiency
• Lead and develop the finance team, building a high-performance culture

What do you need

• Relevant financial qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role (CFO or equivalent)
• Strong commercial acumen, ideally in services, retail, or field operations
• Deep understanding of financial management, compliance, and governance
• Experience working with executive teams, boards, and shareholders
• Exposure to BEE structures and reporting
• Track record in driving financial discipline and operational execution
• Experience with systems, data, and business optimisation
• A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery
• Strong leadership and team development capability
