Last night, Wednesday, 19 August 2009, throngs of movie lovers - Joburgers and ‘outsiders' - braved that threat and flocked to The Zone @ Rosebank movie complex for the District 9 extravaganza premiere and explore the identity of the aliens who have invaded the townships of eGoli (Johannesburg), and turned it into a war zone.
