Software Engineering Tech Lead

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to determine software requirements.
• Provide architectural blueprints to the development team.
• Guide and assist the development team throughout the process.
• Troubleshoot and resolve coding or design issues.
• Upgrade the quality of the team’s code by demonstrating better practices.
• Ensure adherence to development schedules and deadlines.
• Present regular progress reports and set goals.
• Test the final product for functionality and compliance with requirements.
• Update software solutions as necessary.

Key requirements:

• Degree in computer science or relevant engineering field.
• Extensive experience in software development and project management.
• Proficient coding skills acquired over three + years of experience.
• Solid understanding of various programming tools and development platforms.
• Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
• Highly analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities for quality improvement in code.
• Clear articulation of technical insights to enhance team performance.
• High standards for code quality, including unit-testing and functional testing.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, data structures, and algorithms.
