The party promises to be a lavish playground for a high-profile guest list of lanky models, ‘fashionistas', socialites, trendsetters and well-loved celebrities who will swan around in dazzling designer outfits. Sports-lovers will also be afforded the honour of rubbing shoulders with several industry professionals and sporting icons. The star-studded entertainment line-up will complement the festive ambience, featuring local artists, Just Jinjer and Good Luck. Post-modern music guru, Bang Bang Club owner and DJ, Shaun Duvet, will introduce proceedings, accompanied by Gareth Cliff.

“With Jameson having fast become a brand associated with class, panache and fashion, we deemed it fitting that we be aligned with the chic and niched market polo attracts as a sport. Also in a South African context, the pedigree of Kurland bespeaks sophistication,” said Pernod Ricard's marketing manager, Seth Pereira, about the association.

He went on to say that this was a connection of integrity between the two brands because: “Jameson Gold Reserve, as a superior premium brand in this stable has a strong association with tradition and craftsmanship. These qualities lend themselves to the ideals of the polo fraternity as well as the history, and stature, of Kurland as the crème de la crème of polo destinations. We look forward to future associations in this field.”
