Newmark Hotels operates the Ambassador Hotel in Bantry Bay, the V&A Hotel and the Dock House Boutique Hotel & Spa, both located in the V&A Waterfront.
Newmark's association with the Amy Biehl Foundation allows its guests the opportunity to make a financial contribution to the charity's excellent work via a voluntary R5 charge per room per night. “Our guests often enquire about offering assistance in whatever way they can for our country's poor, but are unsure where to begin. Linking up with the Amy Biehl Foundation bridges this gap and allows guests to have piece of mind that their contributions are used appropriately,” said Neil Markovitz, MD of Newmark Hotels.
Apart from the projected significant annual guest contribition, Newmark management will also call on the services that the Amy Biehl Foundation has to offer, including township tours and guest entertainment at special events sourced from the foundation's many cultural activities, adding further revenue to the Amy Biehl coffers. Newmark's management and staff also look forward to the opportunity in volunteering time and manpower to the local projects around Cape Town.
