Still riding the wave of success his previous two singles “I Don’t Wanna Wait” and “Pink Dragons”, which charted on the country’s major radio stations. Cole has returned with his brand new single “Honey, Let Me In”.
He wrote this single after a friend of his described his experience to him. He was at his significant other’s home and he described the feeling of being with her as euphoric; something he didn’t want to end. “And that’s what ‘Honey, Let Me In’ is about. You’re with someone you love dearly and you just want them to stay with you, in that moment – forever,” explains Cole as he delves into the theme of the new single.
Cole and I had a chat recently.

It just comes on the fly, to be honest. It’s very hard to explain.
To see the reaction on people’s faces when I’ve got them in their feels. It, in return, gets me in mine.
Probably “Pink Dragons”.
Plenty. I once forgot the lyrics to the Afrikaans part of the anthem at a gig.
Hard to say, but probably Adam Levine.
Family heirlooms have been passed down to me.
A cold, steamy glass of government juice (water).
I would probably say my vocal tone. It’s recognisable I’ve been told.
Everyone calls me Lee. Since I was a little boy.
Probably something in the psychology field. I’m a sucker for that kind of stuff.
I would probably be played by Ryan Reynolds. I feel like we have a similar sense of humour.
Honest, passionate, clown, driven, real.

Blazers for sure.
My brother and I refer to someone dying as ‘pegging’. Sometimes literally, sometimes metaphorically.
So far I’m only just starting but I would say the greatest achievement thus far has been staying true to myself and what I wanted out of life.
People and their driving.
To just be ordinary.
Move around quite a bit. I also tend to close my eyes very often.
I sometimes do free gigs for charity organisations to help raise funds. My most recent one was for the Cupcakes of Hope organisation for children with cancer.
