Phinda's new album was released on 7 May, 2010, and her musical history includes playing the character of Rafiki in the stage production of The Lion King in Toronto, Canada for several years. Phinda has also been a firm favourite for her classy live performances at exclusive private functions and at several distinguished corporate events.
Aside from her musical contributions, Phinda is passionate about South Africa, and its people. Very involved with community work, she was recently selected to be one of the ambassadors for Fair Play For Africa, a campaign to promote the increase of equitable access to quality health care and HIV/AIDS services for all Africans.
