Call to help Pule with broadband policy

The government has appealed for public input on the proposed National Broadband Policy, the department of communications said on Wednesday (10 April).

The public had until 3 May to submit comments to the department.

The call was part of on-going efforts to ensure all citizens had access to broadband services by 2020.

The department issued a statement that said: 'Minister of Communications Dina Pule is inviting all South Africans to contribute in shaping the development of the National Broadband Policy.".

Provincial roadshows were expected to follow the public consultations.
