Waterworld celebrates re-appointment at boat expo

Waterworld in Randburg, Johannesburg has recently been re-appointed South African agents for the Mastercraft range of boats in South Africa.

The company will be celebrating this re-appointment at this weekend's Johannesburg Boat Show, which runs at the Nasrec Expo Centre from Friday, 24 to Sunday, 26 August.

In addition to showing its spectacular X30 and X55 Mastercraft models, Waterworld will also be showing four new Viking boats, built at various locations in South Africa. "With the response from the boating industry, and the novel idea of combining the Johannesburg Boat Show with the AMiD Motorcycle Show, as well as the Outdoor Exhibition, we are expecting a massive turnout," says Waterworld's Dan Savadier.

Waterworld's Viking range will appeal to the entry-level end of the boating market, and the company will be showing four models - two off-shore cats, known as a Pursuit 19 and a Pursuit 24, and two dual-purpose bow-rider boats, the Carrera 18 and the Carrera 23. "To top off our Mastercraft range, we will also be showing the ProStar 190," said Savadier.
