The new service is scheduled to operate on Thursdays, increasing the already existing four-per-week service (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and offering a greater travel choice to guests travelling between South Africa and Seychelles.
Roy Kinnear, chief executive officer of Air Seychelles, said: “We are thrilled to announce the fifth weekly service to Johannesburg which increases the choice of days of the week for our guests and carriage of cargo and personal goods.
“The Thursday service will be operated on an Airbus A320 aircraft, which will boost the available capacity on that route to 868 seats per week.
“Additionally, guests travelling to Durban, East London, Port Elizabeth or Cape Town, with our codeshare partner South African Airways will now have more choice and better access to onward connections.”
