Tax Consultant
An accounting firm in Knysna is looking for a tax consultant to join their team.The candidate will work closely with the tax team under the guidance of the tax manager and tax administrator.
Requirements:- Experience in tax and accounting will be beneficial
- Relevant qualification in tax or accounting
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good administration skills
- Attention to detail
- Numeracy skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Team player
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of income tax returns (for individuals, companies, trusts)
- Assist with tax administration
- Preparation of tax calculations
- Preparation of VAT and EMP201 returns
- Provide assistance with SARS objections/disputes/verifications
- Tax Clearance applications.
- SARS follow-ups and attending SARS appointments.
- Dealing with clients and client queries.
Salary:
R12,000 - R20,000 depending on qualifications and experience
