Workshop Foreman
An established dealership is looking for: A qualified and experienced workshop foreman.
Requirements:- Must have qualified as a diesel technician (non-negotiable).
- At least five years' experience as a diesel technician.
- Some experience as a workshop foreman is advantageous.
- Must have truck dealership experience (non-negotiable; not passenger vehicles/mining/earth-moving).
- Own, basic toolbox; special tools will be provided.
- Own vehicle.
- Excellent leadership abilities.
Responsibilities:- Manage daily workflow in the commercial vehicle workshop.
- Manage breakdown status and progress.
- Compile technical reports, quotations, and feedback to management.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding outwork status.
- Enforce discipline and general housekeeping of the workshop.
- Be hands-on and work on commercial vehicles where needed.
Salary: Negotiable basic salary (depending on experience).
