Tru-Cape Fruit Marketing in Somerset West hosted 10 students from the Fachschule für Obst-, Wein- und Gartenbau at Laimburg Südtirol along with two of their lecturers as part of an ongoing outreach programme. The school is closely associated with the Laimburg Research Institute and teaches subjects like amongst others, viticulture, horticulture, landscape, and gardening.
Tru-Cape has had a long association with local universities as well and regularly hosts MBA students for briefings while Tru-Cape MD Roelf Pienaar continues his role as a part-time finance lecturer at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.
