The Rand Show brings science to life in the Wonderful World of Why workshops

It's new, it's messy, it's gooey, and the kids are going to love it. It's the Wonderful World of Why, a series of brand-new interactive science workshops exclusive to the Rand Show 2017.

Created by the Nutty Scientists, the Wonderful World of Why workshops are crammed with exciting, hands-on experiments that children of all ages will enjoy.

Under the guidance of one of SA’s top science teachers, 50 children per workshop will immerse themselves in fun, ooey-gooey science experiments.

There will be many different experiments performed throughout the day across the various workshops, including making elephant toothpaste and silly putty or ‘flubber’, playing with non-Newtonian fluids, and doing dry ice experiments.

Sherpa Kids, an out of school hours childcare brand, will also be joining in the fun, engaging children in exciting activities that will add to the Wonderful World of Why experience.

The Wonderful World of Why at the Rand Show will take place several times each day from 14-23 April 2017. Check out the daily schedules at the showgrounds, or look online at www.randshow.co.za.

On top of these workshops, be sure to catch the Nutty Scientists in their zany, interactive stage show, “The Magic of Science”, taking place every day at the Rand Show.

There’s also a wide range of top-class entertainment to be enjoyed outside the Science & Technology hall. South Africa’s biggest consumer expo is the only show to offer attractions covering everything from sport, motoring, military, and science and technology, to design, animals, gardening, health and beauty, and variety shows ... there’s an entire day out for the whole family packed into each Rand Show ticket.

Visit www.randshow.co.za to find out about all the action.
