Recent Environmental graduate keen on changing the world, even if it's just a little part of it. Currently completing a Masters degree in Conservation Ecology.
I studied Conservation Ecology at Stellenbosch University, where I have developed my understanding of the environment and it's connection to agricultural production. I have always had a deep passion for nature and this has intensified in my years of study at University. I am currently completing a Masters degree under the supervision of Dr C Seymour (Ecosystem Services Ecologist, SANBI) and Dr J Pryke (Department of Conservation Ecology and Entomology, Stellenbosch University). The title of my thesis being 'The infiltration of food webs by alien plants: implications for natural vegetation, crops and indigenous insect communities'.
The involvement of environmental awareness campaigns and community development initiatives have recently become of great importance to me regarding the direction I aim to take within my career.
My youth and enthusiasm support my desire to experience new opportunities as well as my adaptability and commitment to work, which ensures that I always find intellectually stimulating settings in which I can further develop my talents.
