Responsibilities:
- Report Development: Developing and automating new BI reports
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Power BI models
- Develop new features and KPIs to enhance reporting capabilities
- Analyse data to identify trends and insights for decision-making
- Prepare reports and updates for key stakeholders
- Collaborate with teams to optimize data pipelines and integration
- Ensure data integrity through validation and quality checks
Qualifications and Experience:
- IT Related Degree/ Diploma / Microsoft Certification / Cloud Certification.
- Min 5 years’ experience in BI (SSIS, SSRS).
- Min 5 years’ experience in Data Warehousing (Kimbal Methodology) (SSIS).
- Insurance industry knowledge required.
- Strong experience with Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query)
- Proficiency in SQL and integrating data from multiple sources
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- Great communication and collaboration abilities
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
The reference number for this position is NG60233 which is a permanent hybrid position based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company of R500k – R800k per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
