The Media Operations Department of the Communications Division of the 2010 FIFA Organising Committee South Africa is inviting the media to attend media accreditation workshops in their host cities during October 2009 for clarification purposes.
The purpose of these workshops is to have:
A face-to-face engagement with all South African media and the various, but relevant government communicators.
To inform and assist about the media accreditation process for the final draw for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in Cape Town (4 December ), FIFA Team Workshop (February 2010) and the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
To inform and educate about the importance of having a FIFA Media Channel account
To inform on matters around non-rights holders.
So that at the end, everyone can all understand what needs to be done and nobody can say ‘I didn't know'.
