From Friday 1 May 2009, at 9.30pm, DEKATV will take to SABC3, presented and produced by the same team responsible for the quality that has been its trademark over the past 24 years.

The inserts will reflect the articles as researched and written by its award-winning journalists, but will not necessarily be a carbon copy. It will take viewers behind the scenes of the most important scoops. Above all, the intention is to be eye-catching, unpredictable and original in keeping with the DEKAT culture of amazing stories presented from fresh and unique angles.

The presenters include DEKAT journalists such as Louïne van der Vyver, Juanita Daniels, Marliza van den Berg, Charleen Clarke, Minette de Villiers, Johrné van Huysteen, Martmarie Wessels and newcomer Katlego Maboe. Award-winning script writer Leon van Nierop has also joined the team.

Elzilda Becker, the publisher of DEKAT magazine, is the executive producer while Iza Trengove, well-known in television circles, serves as online producer, with Vicky Kente as consulting producer. Annamarie van Wyk is the production coordinator.
