It also became the second South African company to receive its international ICANN accreditation and the sixth in Africa. Adding to the firsts, it was the first accredited .co.za registrar in September 2011.
To mark the success of its international domain accreditations, it has just launched its new domains' website, appropriately called www.domains.co.za.
Having ICANN accreditation allows domains.co.za to go directly to the registry for that particular TLD hence, Verisign is the registry for .com & .net and PIR is the registry for .org domain extensions. The company reports that no other ISP in South Africa has the big three accreditation, being ICANN, Verisign & PIR.
"The site is not only for domain registrations, it has launched some great website hosting packages too. Clients can install over 250 website applications from content management systems to blogs, as well as forums and various others," explains Wayne Diamond, CEO of DiaMatrix.
In addition, domains.co.za offers bundled discounts for clients hosting their website and using its easy ecommerce solution, eShop.co.za.
