Bryan Adams tours SA in July

Bryan Adams will be performing at the Coca-Cola Dome on Friday, 9 July, where he will perform as a guest on the Celebrate Africa, Grand Finale Event before embarking on a solo tour performing in Cape Town on Tuesday, 13 July at Grand Arena (Grand West Casino, Durban on Friday, 16 July at the ICC Durban Arena and Sunday, 18 July, 2010 at the Coca-Cola Dome, Johannesburg.

Adams has been on the road with his Bare Bones Tour for over a year now. The intimate evening includes his career hits as well as selections from his 11th studio album, appropriately titled “11”.

The Canadian-born Grammy-winning singer-songwriter has garnered 21 top-10 hits, earned nominations for three Academy Awards and five Golden Globes, received 18 Juno Awards, an American Music Award and five ASCAP film and Television Music Awards for Most Performed Song from a Motion Picture: Everything I Do (I Do It For You).

His live performances have benefited numerous charitable endeavours during his 30-year career including His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales Prince's Trust, Live Aid, Greenpeace, Amnesty International and Breast Cancer. He is involved in charity work, campaigning for The Bryan Adams Foundation, which aims to advance education and learning opportunities for young children worldwide.
