Jasco Enterprise sharpens focus, enhances customer service

As part of its on-going commitment to enhancing customer service while ensuring business sustainability and critical mass, Jasco Enterprise has announced the consolidation of its various coastal offices into a single Coastal division which will span the Western and Eastern Capes as well as Kwa-Zulu Natal.

The division will be led by Karel Botha who takes up his new position as Executive Head: Coastal Regions at Jasco Enterprise.

"Jasco Enterprise has traditionally been strong in the Western Cape and a stronger focus in the Eastern Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal was required. It therefore made sense to consolidate these areas into a single regional entity which will enable us to leverage centralised management, resources, skills and experience to grow our business in the area.

The intention is to establish greater capacity and expand our skill base in the coastal regions, enabling us to get closer to our customers and markets, and giving them access to our complete solution and services portfolio, rather than relying on our head office to grow the business," says Botha.

The Coastal Regions will eventually sell and support the full Jasco Enterprise portfolio. This includes communications, which comprises contact centre solutions, workforce optimisation and unified communications, as well as security solutions, IT infrastructure services such as WAN, LAN and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and a full range of managed and professional services. Cloud solutions are another area, which will be accessible to the regional markets as the business grows.

"These lines of business form our core product portfolio, however, as part of the greater Jasco group we are able to leverage the wider solutions offered by other areas of the business as well. We are currently in the process of finalising the structures for the region, which will comprise three functional areas: sales, operations and support. The Coastal division will bring together a team of some 140 people across the region into a cohesive structure," Botha adds.

"This new structure will enable us to maintain dedicated skills and support in the coastal regions, enhancing customer service, while allowing us to share skills and resources across the regions and within the Jasco group. This enables us to become more efficient, with a greater focus on providing dedicated customer service and support. We are also looking to take advantage of opportunities and grow the business more effectively by leveraging existing customer relationships across the Jasco group for enhanced cross selling capability," he concludes.
