Drive-time host DJ Complexion, weekend host DJ George Lacoste and mixmaster DJ Bambo - for whom MD Cyril Chetty is acting as booking agent - are said to be part-time employees.
An irate insider at the station with 1.5million listeners said: "You cannot manage artists from the station you run. It is a conflict of interest.
"This will compromise the other presenters when it is time to shuffle the radio slots. If a DJ he promotes rocks on the club scene but is no good on radio, do you think he will get rid of him?
"The other presenters here are unhappy with this favouritism."
On social network Twitter, DJ Complexion, whose real name is Nduduzo Mathambo, lists Chetty's number as that of his booking agent. He refused to respond to questions about Chetty managing him.
Chetty confirmed that he was the booking agent for the DJs.
"I do not see it as a conflict of interest. I am just helping [them] to build their brands ... There is nothing to hide," he said.
Chetty said the DJs' performance in clubs had nothing to do with the station and the programme manager did allocation of slots.
MSG Afrika chief executive Given Mkhari commented through MSG Afrika chief investment officer and Capricorn FM director Andile Khumalo.
"It recently came to our attention. We do not approve of it. It is not the right way of doing things.
"Our view is we can find a way to promote our presenters as a station and not as individuals. We are working on a way to do that," Khumalo said.
He said there would be no disciplinary action taken against Chetty as he had not broken any rules.
