Annemarie Meintjes appointed editor of Plascon Colour magazine

Décor diva Annemarie Meintjes has been appointed editor of New Media’s PICA-winning customer magazine Plascon Colour.

Meintjes, deputy editor for VISI magazine, will assume her position immediately and her first issue as editor will be on the shelves in August. Meintjes will still retain her position as deputy editor for VISI.

Plascon Colour publisher Hannerie Visser said Meintjes brings a wealth of experience to her new position, having co-authored several local décor books – Outdoor Living, Fast Décor, South and Short Cuts to Storage – since joining the VISI team.

With fellow décor editor Karen Roos, Meintjes produced Huis-Huis, a highly successful décor programme for SABC 2. Meintjes was also a judge and presenter for the hugely popular décor make-over series, The Block and also won the prestigious Mondi At Home Award.
