Bay FM is proud to announce the appointed of Manzo (Mio) Khondleka as Programme Manager of Bay FM. Mio matriculated from St Andrews College in 1998 and went on to finish a music degree studying both at University of Witwatersrand and Port Elizabeth.
According to Station Manager Rodney Kowalski, Mio was a natural choice to fill the vacant position of Programme Manager, as Mio has a wealth of experience in broadcasting.
He has previously worked for Melton FM Radio Academy in Australia and has been with Bay FM for the past two years. Mio was appointed to the management crew in September of last year and his contribution to Bay FM has been invaluable. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Mio anchors the late morning show during the week called Urban Selections.
Mio's first order of business will be to establish a training programme for aspiring DJ's within our community and following an increase in listenership, Mio will be expected to continue this excellent growth by giving Bay FM listeners programming they want.
