After having my childhood dream of becoming the fifth Ninja Turtle dashed, I realised I would have to find another way to make money, but still have fun.

I swiftly settled upon a career in copywriting, studying at AAA, after which I joined FoxP2 (www.foxp2.com) as its first creative employee in 2005. There I learnt how to make coffee, copy check and dodge a Noel Cottrell left hook when I had a bad idea. I also learnt the secret to coming up with a good idea. Bloody. Hard. Work.

After winning several local and international awards with Fox, 140 BBDO (then BBDO Cape Town) came calling, offering me a new headspace with Mike Schalit and Ivan Johnson. Since then, I've been lucky enough to work on some great clients including Hunter's, Oude Meester, Snickers and more - winning a bunch of awards along the way.

Today, I'm still at 140 BBDO (www.140bbdo.com; @140bbdo) and I'm still having fun.
