Staff Nurse - Psychiatric

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide patient care with demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric conditions, treatment protocols, medications, and risk prevention.
- Complete daily nursing documentation accurately.
- Perform routine nursing responsibilities such as monitoring clients during meals, observing individuals with eating disorders, and supervising clients identified as having suicidal or self-harm tendencies.
- Manage admissions professionally, ensuring new clients are welcomed, safe, and integrated without delay.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by the nursing manager.
Requirements:
- Relevant nursing qualification
- Registration with SANC
- Minimum of 1 year of psychiatric experience
- Proficient communication skills in English
- Knowledgeable about psychiatric healthcare
- Ability to provide effective patient care concerning psychiatric conditions, treatment, medication, and risk management
Salary: Above market rate, dependent on experience.
