Power BI Analyst

The Power BI Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving reporting solutions that support operational, financial, and strategic decision-making across the business. The role focuses on transforming raw data from multiple QSR systems into clear, actionable dashboards and insights for operations teams, finance, HR, and executive leadership. The analyst will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring high-quality reporting, identifying performance trends, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to support operations, finance, HR, and executive leadership.
• Track and monitor key restaurant performance KPIs such as sales, labour, cost of sales, speed of service, and customer metrics.
• Integrate, clean, and model data from multiple systems to ensure accurate and reliable reporting.
• Analyse operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that support business decisions.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analytical support for operations and finance teams.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into data-driven insights and dashboards.
• Present insights in clear, easy-to-understand formats for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support digital transformation initiatives, including automation, improved reporting frameworks, and data standardisation.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and successful report refreshes, while troubleshooting reporting issues when needed.

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 2 years’ experience in reporting, analytics, or business intelligence roles.
• Experience working with Power BI dashboards and business reporting environments.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, or QSR environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions
• Excellent data visualization and storytelling ability
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail and data accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
