Qualifications and skills

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Grade 12.
• National certificate in administrative qualification/s – national diploma advantageous
• 3 years of practical experience in industrial, reservations, rooms division, and yield management.
• Excellent communication (verbal and written).
• Adaptability to different working areas and conditions.
• Attention to detail.
• Good customer care skills & good communication skills.
• Ability to handle pressure & to make decisions.
• Must have own accommodation & transport.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee daily operations of the reservations ticket office team.
• Ensure accuracy, efficiency and exceptional guest service.
• Ensure all reservations and ticketing are processed timely and professionally.
• Maximize revenue opportunities through effective inventory and rate management.
• Act as a liaison between guests, the reservations team and other departments.
• Ensure all public areas are presentable for guests & visitors.
• Record keeping and capturing sales on the company’s system.
• Ensure that stations & systems are operating and ready for service, on time.
