Energize is looking for a motivated advertising business development representative based in Johannesburg to sell ad space in our publication to businesses in the energy industry. This role is a freelance position.
Key responsibilities:
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and meetings
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and reporting to management
- Staying updated on industry trends
- 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably advertising/energy sector sales
- Strong knowledge of the energy industry and its market dynamics
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Valid driving licence, own car, laptop and internet connection
