What you’ll do:
As our Lead Model Validation Analyst, you’ll:
- Validate, challenge, and review complex machine learning and statistical models
- Take ownership of end-to-end ML projects (from design to delivery)
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, spotting skills gaps and supporting growth
- Present and defend findings to model developers and senior management
- Collaborate across technical and business teams to ensure robust, reliable models
What we’re looking for:
- Education: Honours degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Data Science
- Experience: 6+ years in model development, with direct model validation or review experience
- Technical expertise:
o Tree-based methods, neural networks, clustering, anomaly detection
o Advanced statistical or machine learning techniques
o Cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and exposure to emerging tech like large language models is a bonus
- Strong skills in data mining, predictive modelling, and end-to-end project delivery
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
